On the wedding day will be 1 videographer on the day, starting with the bride and her bridesmaids getting made-up. If it’s logistically possible I will also capture a bit of the groom’s parties ‘morning preparations’ too, as its always lovely to see what each other was up to, the nerves, the excitement! From there on in I will be filming as the day unfolds into the night, which includes the full Bridal preparations,/ceremony/ drinks reception/speeches. But more importantly, the 100’s of moments in between these ‘main events’ as you get ready, have your drinks reception.
Filming unobtrusively is paramount for this to work, no interfering or directing, we simply take a step back and film the wedding almost from a guests perspective, albeit one with a ‘back stage pass’. We also find this really helps put people at ease, as who honestly likes the idea of being filmed.
You'll receive an 8-10-minute highlight video, an artful montage that beautifully encapsulates the essence of your special day, allowing you to relive the most touching moments. Additionally, our 70/90-minute full record video provides a comprehensive account of your entire wedding day. For your convenience, we provide Flash Drive for easy sharing and treasuring of your memories. First Look (Optional): If the couple chooses to do a first look, the videographer will capture this private, emotional moment from multiple perspectives, including sweeping drone shots for a dramatic, cinematic feel.
Ceremony Coverage: During the ceremony, videographers capture the vows, ring exchange, and first kiss. Multiple cameras are used to capture different angles, including close-ups, wide shots, and guest reactions. Drones can also be used for stunning overhead shots as the couple exits the ceremony, capturing the full scale and atmosphere of the day.
Post-Ceremony and Couple Portraits: After the ceremony, the team captures intimate moments with the couple, family, and wedding party. This is a perfect time for creative drone shots, capturing the couple in beautiful, natural landscapes or with the stunning architecture of the venue.
Reception and Key Moments: During the reception, the videographers capture the grand entrance, first dance, speeches, cake cutting, and spontaneous dance floor moments. Drones can be used to capture the venue’s exterior at sunset or to add a unique perspective to outdoor celebrations.
Evening and Exit Shots: As the night winds down, the team captures the grand exit, whether it’s a sparkler send-off, fireworks, or a romantic nighttime moment. Drone shots can capture the magical atmosphere from above, highlighting the scale and energy of the celebration.
Drone Footage: Throughout the day, the videographers capture video clips of the venue, natural surroundings, and candid guest interactions. This background footage, combined with aerial drone shots, adds rich context to the final film, making it feel like a cinematic masterpiece.
Post-Production: After the wedding, the footage is carefully edited to create a beautiful, cohesive film that tells the full story of your day, often including music, voiceovers, and cinematic colour grading for a polished final product. The drone footage is seamlessly woven in to enhance the drama and elegance of the final edit.
